Steppforward (PTY) LTD is a private company based in Lephalale operating in Marapong location into the field of Retail, it deals with the supply of all building materials. The demand of building material’s in the area has grown immensely
since the beginning of implementation of several capital projects in the area – the Medupi Power Station and the EXXARO mine expansion project.

Steppforward supplies all building materials it doesn’t manufacture the products. There are four distinct customers for Steppforward the contractors, private sectors, public servants and individuals. For the contractors the materials are being delivered to their site of working place, then for the private and public local schools also the goods are delivered to their receiving points as well. For the individual customers are buying direct into the store.

The main target for Steppforward is the contractors and the active projects implemented around Lephalale as a whole. The largest segment is retailer market which buys 90% of our produce. Individual customers are the second largest segment with 20 customers per day.

Steppforward has two competitive edges that will maintain their strong growth rates, increasing their market penetration. The first edge is quality. This is the result of the application high quality skills and methods by its personnel. Our second competitive edge is easy accessibility. Our location is very close to our local customers and the local projects.

Steppforward is led by Mr. Tshepho Solomon Namate. Mr. Tshepho Solomon Namate has been in the Retail industry for ten years’ operating as a supervisor and sales assistance at different retail stores around Limpopo and Gauteng province. Mr. Tshepo Solomon Namate has undergone many business training courses offered by government and its parastatals.

Steppforward (Pty) Ltd is a trading as Junction Store. Junction store has started its operations in 2018. Mr. Tshepho Solomon Namate is the sole owner and director of the company. The Junction store will in future be in process of leasing\buying
